Caftans have long been a staple in women's wardrobes. In the 70's, the popularity of the garment grew to become a fashion style. This version pattern has a three-armhole design. We love this pattern because it's an Extra Carefree pattern by McCall's, meaning it is easy to sew. We also love that it came in extended Women's sizes, like this one, which suits women with bust sizes 42-44. And we love the dramatic flare of that maxi skirt and how it complements the flared bell sleeves.
