Why we love it: This is a lovely day dress pattern from the mid-1940s. We love it because it represents the end of the World War II era fashion for ladies. Early 1940s day attire patterns were straighter cut suits and dresses to be worn as part of the work force during the war. This pattern delivers a more feminine, functional dress (look at those deep pockets!) to give ease of movement doing household chores or running errands while looking very fashionable.
